Backstory

I was sorted into Gryffindor. I think the Sorting Hat chose Gryffindor for me because I tend to lean towards adventure and I enjoy change. However, the Sorting Hat did take his time as he filtered through my brain he saw that I am more quiet in front of new people but then realized that it was not because I am shy but because I enjoy listening to people talk. The majority of the other students think I belong in the Hufflepuff house because I appear shy at first glance but what they don’t know is that I’m loyal and daring. I enjoy Herbology, Flying and of course Care of Magical Creatures. I’m not really into Potions or Defence Against the Dark Arts. I’m not the best student as I get distracted and have a terrible memory. But I do like going to class. I am a half-blood as my dad is a pure-blood wizard and my mother is muggle-born but she had top grades. And no my blood status has not affected me in the wizarding world. But I tend to not care about where we come from as long as we work together now. I was born just before the famous Harry Potter defeated Lord Voldemort. My parents have told me stories about the time he rose to power and had control of the wizarding world. I’m looking forward to joining the Daily Prophet as soon as I graduate helping in the mail room and working my way up writing for the section Astro News. Then once I’ve saved up enough money I think I’ll start breeding Hippogriffs and settle down in the country. Right now at Hogwarts I brought my lucky Siamese cat that I call Caerula. But back at home I have Crup called Scotty. And I hope to one day own a Kneazle. And last but not least my wand is a 13 inch Maple wand with Unicorn hair.
