Backstory

Growing up, I had always considered myself to be too strange to fit into the world I lived in. All my life, I felt like I had been reaching towards something spectacular and extraordinary, but could never quite get to it. The only person that I could relate to growing up was my aunt Paisley. For some reason, my parents loathed and despised her. They were almost afraid of her at times, but we were inseparable and I loved her. For some reason, my parents seemed to take their anger out on me. They would always call me strange and tell me that I need to find another place to live, that maybe I should live with my aunt because she was the only person who understood me and they couldn't for some reason. Then, I found out that I was a witch, and that they had been keeping it from me my entire life, that they absolutely hated magic and wanted nothing to do with it whatsoever. They told me that I could either live life completely separate and in denial of my magic powers, or I could leave and never see them again, I chose to accept myself and leave if they wouldn't accept me. I went to see my aunt, and she took me to Hogwarts. Along the way, I met a lot of other young wand-carriers who had faced the same circumstances as I had, and one day, I want to do something about it. Needless to say, because of my interest in examining the proliferation of certain ideas in the world, I was sorted into Ravenclaw. I love learning about the history of magic, as I had never known of those things before.
