Backstory
I spent the first 11 or so years of my life in mindless tedium interspersed with the bright allure of accidental (and not-so-accidental, towards the end) magic. Then, I went to Hogwarts. The hat was torn between Ravenclaw and Slytherin, and I picked Ravenclaw just because an eagle was slightly less likely to grievously injure me than a snake. From what my peers tell me, it seems that I had dodged a bullet. After all, a muggleborn's got to watch her back in today's political climate. Anyways, I had a fascinating first year and I hope the second is just as good.
