Backstory

I come from a proper wizarding family, almost pure blood though there have been quite a few Muggle relations. My mom was from a family of Muggles but she's a witch(Hufflepuff) and dad was a Slytherin so they weren't too sure what house I would be in. I was sorted into Ravenclaw but I would say I have a few Slytherin traits as well, not Parseltongue! My Sorting was pretty quick and for a second the Sorting Hat considered putting me in Slytherin but my wits won over my ambitions. I absolutely love Potions as it is really fascinating and moreover I do well in that. Though, Herbology is useful, it's not my best subject. I enjoy Ancient Runes and History of Magic as it let's you explore about what happened and always tend to catch my interest. I wish I was great at Quidditch. I play fairly well and want to be a Chaser. I've practiced a lot and maybe will even be selected for this year's Ravenclaw Quidditch Team!! Some pure blood families regard us as blood traitor because of our relations with Muggles but I think it's fine. How are you supposed to survive without some Muggle help or the Wizarding Community will die. According to me, my greatest strength is my knowledge. I won't deny that I am a little eccentric and sometimes rude as I like my alone time as many Ravenclaws do. I think my weakness is how less I trust people and how secretive I am. Maybe I should let more people in my life but I can't pour myself out to someone. I've a pet cat, Luna who I spend most of my time with. She's a really cute white and brown cat. I probably wanna work in the Ministry of Magic after I finish school though the idea of teaching at Hogwarts seems fascinating as well. I'm still not so sure about what I exactly want but I definitely wanna work for the greater good. I'm an only child but my single mom (my dad died when I was 8) is quite busy working so I'm mostly on my own. I really love Hogwarts. It gives me a place where I can be 'me'. Both my mom and dad are Aurors and that's why I wanna work in the Ministry of Magic. My mom tries her best to make it up for dad's death and treats me on even small occasions. My mom was really happy when I was sorted into Ravenclaw and told me that the Sorting Hat also considered putting her into Ravenclaw. The best thing about magic is how it can be healing and so powerful at the same time, taking away sorrow, bringing happiness but even pain. Magic shows people at their best and above all teaches about love.
