Backstory

I am Muggle-born but always believed there was something more to life. As an adult, Hogwarts is my first true calling into a world full of mysteries, wonders, curiosities, and unknown expectations. My parents are from a strict religious mindset and I suspect them in the disappearance of my original Hogwarts letter. Fortunately, a second chance presented as Hogwarts opened its doors to the mature student population. With my letter in hand, new opportunities are waiting for me. I suspected I had magical talent when I was about eight years old. Things around the house would disappear or move from one location to an unknown destination. My mother said I frequently lost things or broke them, but I always believed they were not lost or broken by human hands. Anytime my mother gave me a horrendous haircut, my hair seemed to grow at an exponential rate, back to its original state. Odd things seemed to transpire, especially when I was more emotional, even in adulthood.
