Backstory
I never thought of magic as something that could even be possible in the world, let alone in my life. I grew up with muggle parents, and everything was extraordinarily ordinary until it wasn't. One day, everything started to change. Things started happening around me, things I could neither explain nor understand. My parents were frightened, of course, but the day I got my Hogwarts letter everything suddenly started making sense. Since then I have made it my mission to learn everything there is to know about magic. Now, Hogwarts is my home.
