Backstory

I never knew about the wizarding world until my letter arrived. I had been studying medicine and nursing schools prematurely, finding that it was what I wanted to do. My mother was a nurse as well, it was never forced onto me to be a nurse, but, I had never found the gorey hospital story aspect disgusting. My life switched once I was given my ticket. I sat in a cart alone, keeping my eyes locked onto the view of the world outside the window. There were so many kids there of various ages. The boats were a fun ride, the water was chilly, finding that I stuck my hands in it. The grand hall that we were led into was HUGE. There were elder men and women at the front of the hall. They called my name of MJ Marsh, placed a hat on my head and it SPOKE?! I got a house called Hufflepuff. The men, women, boys, and girls were very nice. Classes and writing in quill are interesting. Apparently I'm what's called a half-blood, meaning that I have one wizard in my family and one Mudblood. *note to self, Mudblood is a slur, kinda like the f-bomb.* Oh! Got to go, classes are starting!
