Backstory

I grew up on stories of Hogwarts and had always dreamed of wandering the massive moving staircase and exploring the hundreds of beautiful books that my father had told me about as a child. He told me that I was destined to do great things - as long as I kept my nose clean and worked smart. When my letter came, I was overjoyed, but also scared. What if as a half-born I didn't fit in? What if my magic wasn't strong enough to live up to my potential? I determined I would work hard to try and become the most clever witch of my year and make my father proud.

The hat debated for some time about where to put me. It said my ambition would take me to great heights if I let it, but that if I stayed grounded my achievements would be more practical. I took the safe route and chose Ravenclaw hoping that being surrounded by clever witches and wizards some of it might rub off on me as well.
