Backstory
I come from a long line of Slytherins, pureblood of course. It was made quite clear to me before I left for my first year that being sorted into any other house would result in...consequences. I sometimes still think of Finny (short for Fionnuala) my second cousin who was sorted into Hufflepuff., we never spoke to their side of the family again. I wonder how she's doing. When I was sorted I expected it to be over in a moment but the hat had other ideas. It spoke of loyalty and bravery and hinted at another option, I made it clear that should it steer away from my prefered house I would pay it a visit with my sewing scissors...it chose acordingly.
