Backstory

When I received a letter from Hogwarts, my muggle parents were completely shocked. My older sister labeled me a freak, whereas my younger sister thought it was quite fascinating that magic actually did exist and that I was lucky enough to get to be a part of it. I dragged my parents along with me to the Leaky Cauldron, they were very resistive at first because they believed there was no such thing as magic, but as soon as a man named Tom showed up the secret entrance into Diagon Alley, there was no way my parents could deny it any longer. They saw it right before their eyes! After I got all my supplies, I spent the rest of the summer reading about Hogwarts, the place I would spend the next 7 years of my life. The next two months seemed to be the longest two months of my life as I awaited the day I would get to board the Hogwarts Express.
