Misha Peverell-Tano

Backstory

As the son of a magical father from the fabled family known as the Peverells and a mysterious muggle mother with the surname of Tano, I grew up loved and supported and when my letter arrived, I didn't want to leave. Soon, though, I got a glimpse of the wizarding world when my parents took me to Diagon Alley to buy school supplies. I was nervous and anxious until I received my pet, a lovely grey owl, and my wand. My wand was 12 3/4 inches, made of holly, surprisingly supple, and had a core of dragon heartstring. Suddenly, I wanted nothing more than to be a part of this wonderful community. When I arrived at Hogwarts, I was blown away by the sheer size, beauty and, well...the magic of the castle. My sorting experience was terrifying, and also exhilarating. The sorting hat told me that I had some Slytherin characteristics, such as my natural leadership and my need to win. Ultimately, however, I was placed in Ravenclaw. I quickly made friends with my fellow Ravenclaw first years and decided that Hogwarts was the school for me. I immediately immersed myself in all the activities I could find. I love charms, potions, art, mathematics, and astronomy, and I have a natural knack for languages and surprisingly, Quidditch. I didn't quite make the Ravenclaw Quidditch team this year, but I came very close. I have been practicing every chance I get and I hope to make the team as a chaser next year.
