Backstory

One day I was sitting at my desk doing math homework. All of a sudden, the window above my desk opened and a letter dropped on top of my open book. I opened it immediately and was surprised at what it was. I had never heard of Hogwarts. I had never even seen a real witch or wizard in my life (although I had spent years looking for any sign of magic). I ran downstairs and showed my sister, Zoi, and my parents. My parents read the letter with me and we decided that I would attend Hogwarts. It was the best day of my life! About a week later we all got in the car and drove to the address listed in the letter. Entering Diagon Alley was the most magical thing I had ever seen. We bought books and robes and even a wand! During the final weeks of summer, I read all the books we purchased and prepared for my education at Hogwarts. With 3 days left till school begins I am practically jumping up and down! This is most certainly going to be a very interesting year!
