Backstory

I'm starting my first year at Hogwarts! Both of my parents are muggles, so I had no idea how the wizarding world was going to be like. Until now, everything has been very strange, but exciting! I was quickly sorted into Hufflepuff, as the Sorting Hat said I'm very loyal and sympathetic. So far, I'm loving it! I think I'm more excited to learn about history of magic and charms. If herbology and potions are anything like my older sister's chemistry subject in high school, I think I'll avoid them for as long as I can. I would've never expected for something like this to happen to me. Magic is so freaking cool! It seems so crazy to me that I can bend the laws of the universe with only a swing of my wand! I have also been told to get a pet for company. I chose a cute black cat called Drax, and although he's more aloof than I'd like, I can tell we're going to be best friends! Being so far away from my mom and my sister in a whole new world makes me (very) anxious, but I'm very happy to be here!
