Backstory

From a family of well-off folk in New England, I grew up in a town my great-grandparents built from the ground up. Our family’s legacy is the town, and it is expected of me to return home after schooling to contribute to its running. While I love my town, the idea of spending my entire life working there is exceedingly boring. After a year of begging, my grandparents finally agreed to send me to Hogwarts, though they did so under the impression that I will return home with a unique skill set to better the town; I have no intention of doing so, which puts me in a position where I have to mislead my family to remain at Hogwarts. While I love my family, it is time for me to be my own person, even if I have to fake it ‘til I make it!
