Backstory

I was born in London supposedly, but because my birth parents were killed when I was very young, I was adopted by a pureblood wizarding couple from Wellington, New Zealand. I grew up in New Zealand for my entire life thereafter, I was homeschooled until I got my Hogwarts letter. My adoptive parents were quite surprised as they had expected me to either be a muggle, squib or end up going to the magical school in Australia. Nevertheless, they let me go and I was accepted into Slytherin as soon as the hat touched my head. Right now, I have just started my first year here, but already several questions have raised as to who my birth parents were and who I might become. But for now, I want to focus on my studies and make my parents proud. I was also recently accepted to be one of the two beaters on the official Slytherin Quidditch Team. Other than my uncanny ability to actually like History of Magic, I don't really have that many other quirks or talents. I do hope to make some I'm friends here mostly because I'm from a far away place. Anyone needing help in any subject or just help with personal problems owl me!
