Backstory
I'm a halfblood in my fourth year at Hogwarts. My mum's a muggle and my dad's a wizard. My mum found out about my dad's being a wizard when I was two years old and they got a divorce. When I turned ten my parents made me choose: did I want to be a wizard or live in the muggle world? I chose to become a wizard and live with my father in Diagon Alley. He's a shopkeeper at Scribullus and I help him over breaks and during the summer.
