Backstory

Nobody ever said it would be easy going to school at Hogwarts, but I'm making the best of what I've got. My favourite school subject is Astronomy. I've always preferred the night over the day and have spent countless hours gazing at the stars when I'm supposed to be sleeping. One of my favourite things to do is reading books and I often seek refuge from the buzz of the world in the library or just any quiet corner. Books are the most constant of friends, and the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers. I read books to learn about the world and to learn about myself. We lose ourselves in books, but we find ourselves in them too.

I believe that knowledge is power and that with great power must come great responsibility. It is our duty as Ravenclaw to learn all we can so that we may use that knowledge for good and that we may one day pass it on to others. We must remember that we are never too old to learn; the important thing is to never stop questioning, curiosity has its own reason for existing. Knowledge is a weapon, and I intend to be formidably armed. Long live Magic-Kind! Long live Ravenclaw!
