Backstory
After studying at Hogwarts, Resplendence fell in love with magic so much that he wanted to create his own spells that would help people. It had been a long time since new spells (or at least memorable ones) were created, and so he decided to take up the opportunity and fill in the gaps that modernization had left behind.
