Backstory
My last name is the English translation of my family's Germanic Viking surname. My grandparents on my dad's side were pure-bloods from Germany. My grandparents on my mother's side were pure-bloods from Scotland and the Netherlands. My parents, fleeing a life of dark magic supporting which was rampant in the family, moved as far away as they could to get out of a bad situation. The exact situation they never told me and avoid any questions I ask about it. So now we live in sunny California. As part of my parent's attempts to keep out of trouble we have lived mostly like no-maj. I only learned that there were magical schools last year, something my parents forgot to tell me. I'm currently studying by owl, or as our family has a hawk I should say studying by hawk, from Ilvermorny in Mount Greylock.
