Backstory

I have always wanted to go to Hogwarts very badly, but have I always been worried that I might not be able to go. See, I'm a half-blood, and my parents are divorced. My mother left my father when I was 3 because she wanted nothing to do with magic, and I have never seen her since. My dad raised me in Hogsmeade. He works at Honey dukes. We are very happy, the two of us. But I was worried I would never go to Hogwarts and that I was a squib, because I didn't show any sine of magic until age 10 when I was making a fake potion and blew it up. This is my first year in Hogwarts and I absolutely love it.
