Backstory
I was raised in the middle of the war, right in the thick of everything. Once it was all over, I became an Auror, helping Kingsley round up the remaining Death Eaters across England. I rose through the ranks quickly and became the youngest Head Auror the Ministry had ever seen, but I "retired" at 23 to start a family with my husband. Things stayed that way for a number of years, until my children were old enough to attend Hogwarts. I reached out to Headmistress McGonagall and she gave me a position teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts at my first home, Hogwarts.
