Backstory
I am a muggle-born deaf girl, that has a love for magic. I love learning, though, in the muggle world it is hard for me to do so. One day I hope to become a professor at Hogwarts in either the field of muggle-studies or defence against the dark arts. My father passed away when I was ten, which put me in a great sadness. My mother had no job at the time, and paying for my deaf schooling was taking a toll. I was responsible for my three younger siblings as my mom went back to university by day, and worked as a waitress by night. And then I got my letter. Everything changed. I became happy, and my mother completed university. She got a job as a grade nine math teacher. I saw a future for myself.
