Backstory

(Younger Student) Growing up with a muggle parent and a wizard parent meant I got to experience the best of both worlds. I get to enjoy things such as spell casting or flying on a broom. Also, I get to enjoy playing muggle sports, such as competitive swimming, and using muggle computers. I was so happy to finally receive my Hogwarts letter this summer. Obviously, I had been to Diagon Alley before (mainly just to visit Sugarplum's Sweets Shop), but I had never visited places like Ollivanders and the Apothecary. Being an only child, these things were all new to me. I had been waiting for the moment when I could finally go to Ollivanders and get my own wand (I had been using one of my dad's old wands). When I put on my new Hogwarts robes for the first time, I truly felt like a witch. I can't wait to go to Hogwarts!
