Backstory: No one said it would be easy to be the first one in my family to attend Hogwarts. I come from a long line of witches and wizards from Louisiana. My parents, however, were both squibs. I was pressured from a young age to prove that I could do magic, so my parents could rejoin their proud, pureblood families. After a while, they believed it to be a lost cause and we all moved to Britain. It wasn't until I moved that my magical ability started to surface, and a year later, I was accepted into Hogwarts. I had no clue what to expect -- it was all so new to me -- but I think I've adapted quite well. My best and and favorite class is Defense Against The Dark Arts. However, I'm rubbish at History of Magic and other essay-heavy classes. Essays are not my forte, but I need to get my grades up as much as possible -- Aurors only take the best, after all. Failing that, however, I could always be a Hit Witch.
