Backstory

When my letter from Hogwarts arrived in the mail that day, I didn't know what the future would hold. I didn't think this was real when I received the letter, I had to read it a couple of times. I was ready to leave my small, poor town and go to Hogwarts to learn and make friends for once. I packed my bags right away, leaving a bag just for my art supplies. I've always been into the arts with drawing and painting. My parents said I would never get a career out of it in the muggle world, they also don't believe I can get anywhere in the wizarding world either. My mother is a muggle, my father is a wizard. They both split in their relationship, my mother taking my brother with her, never letting him go to Hogwarts.
I hope Hogwarts is a change for me, and let's me experience the things I was never able to when i was living under neath my parents roof.
