Backstory

When I received my acceptance letter, I about died of shock! I knew that it would come someday, but certainly not the day it did come! I wanted to go to Diagon Alley immediately, but obviously my parents weren't both in agreement. Having one half-giant as a father and a Muggle as a mother isn't all it may seem. My mother was actually a little disappointed when I recieved my letter, as if she was hoping that I wouldn't get it - I guess she didn't want to let me go. Before I got on to the train, she wanted me to promise her that I would write at least once a week, and visit in the holidays. You know, I do miss her a bit - OK, quite a lot. I mean, at least I have my father here, so I can still see him almost every day. But, to be honest, seeing him every day makes me miss my mum more, because I remember how we used to always be together as a family, now we're really far apart. Anyway, I'm going to stop here because talking about my mother makes me feel a bit sad. By the way, I'm a first year. Bye!
