Backstory
(Younger Student) When I received my Hogwarts Letter I thought nothing of it because my brother always pulled crazy, stupid pranks on me. So I wrote a letter back to see if it was true and Dumbledore answered and a week after I bought all of the equipment. Next year I'll probably get a broom as well.
