Backstory

When I first got my letter, it was certainly surprising. Somehow, it had reached me even when I was in America, though my home is located in the Quebec region of Canada. My parents are muggles, but my older sister is a witch, so she was able to sort through all of the things I would need to get before my journey to Hogwarts. I'm not very special, nor am I very outgoing, so no one really wanted to sit next to me on the train. Oh well, I'm sure I'll find someone as socially awkward as me to befriend. If not, it just means I'll have more time to watch Quidditch and devote to studies.
