Backstory

My early childhood is a blur, but the letter that was found in my pocket claimed that I am a half-blood. My earliest memory consists of me stumbling down an alley in Chicago, where a woman named Morgana found me. She took me in and raised me as her own, but it was quite an unusual life: rather than sending me to school, she took me along on a series of adventures around the world, as she worked on completing her research on magical creatures. Her interests carried over to me and I spent many years learning about both the common and the enigmatic life forms that live among us. However, at 22, I figured it was about time I took my magic to another level. While on one of our adventures in England, I broke the news to Morgana. I wouldn't be going on with her. I had requested permission and been accepted to study magic at Hogwarts.
