Born in America, I attended Ilvermony to learn about the history of magic and how it has affected both the Muggle and Wizarding World. I traveled the world, visiting wizarding villages to hear their stories. After years of traveling, I grew weary and wished to settle down. I moved to England and have been teaching at Hogwarts ever since.
