(Younger Student) I wasn't at all surprised receiving my letter because of my family. My mother was a pureblood Ravenclaw and my father was also a pureblood, but he was in Slytherin. I also have a brother who is attending Hogwarts and is a Ravenclaw. I loved gathering all my materials in Diagon Alley and was given a Ebony, Phoenix feather 12 1/2 wand. Even though I haven't started the school year, I started reading some of my textbooks like DADA and Potions. Both look really fun to me and I can't wait to start!
