Backstory
I was born in 1897, and developed an interest in magical creatures at an early age, as my mother was a breeder of hippogriffs. As a seven year old, I would regularly dismember Horklumps in my bedroom.Beginning around 1908, I attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where I was sorted into Hufflepuff. During my time, I enjoyed studying magical creatures. I developed a friendship with Leta Lestrange, a fellow student who shared my interest in magical beasts as well as a feeling of being an outsider. One day, Leta's experiment went too far and endangered the life of a student. Rather than see my good friend expelled, I took the blame and was expelled from Hogwarts in her place. Albus Dumbledore, my Transfiguration teacher at the time, argued strongly, but in vain, against my expulsion. Sometime after however, I may have been able to re-enter Hogwarts and eventually graduate.
