Backstory
Professor SilversmithBorn in America, I moved to London and attended Hogwarts to learn about the history of magic and how it has affected both the Muggle and Wizarding World. After graduating, I returned to the USA, becoming a Representative for MACUSA. In an attempt to further study the effects of the wizarding community on other cultures, I traveled the world, visiting wizarding villages to hear their stories. In 2000, I presented my findings to a national convention of Wizarding Historians who then recorded my information for future generations.
Currently, I am a professor in the field of History. Away from Hogwarts and back in the United States, I was a politician, who was elected to be a Representative for MACUSA, in the early 80's However after the end of my term, I quit my political career to study history abroad (as mentioned above) later coming to England for a role in education.
So to sum it all up
Born in the USA
Moved to London for education
Moved back to the USA, for a career in politics
Elected as a Rep. for MACUSA
at the end of my term, studied history around the world
returned to Hogwarts to teach
I never attended Ilvermorny, not because I believe it is inferior, but rather because my parents had both lived in the UK before immigrating to the USA, attending Hogwarts. They wished the same for me.
