Backstory

I have to tell you; it's not easy being a squib. I've always been so excited to attend Hogwarts like my mother, or even Ilvermorny like my father! I'd always hoped I'd be a Ravenclaw despite everyone insisting I'm more of a Hufflepuff, but... well, I'd take Slytherin over nothing. (No offense to all you serpents! It's a wonderful House I'm sure, but I'm about as cunning as a rock.)

It's been really hard trying to accept that I'll never be able to let my own sparks fly. My family's been really gentle about it and all, but... *sighs, glancing down at her feet* yeah.

I really do appreciate being allowed to participate in the online lessons, though! It's incredibly kind of you people; I promise I'll do my best to learn what I can! After all, I still come from a magic family and it's only right that I learn about where I came from.
...Right?
