Backstory

I've always been new to the wizarding world, as my adoptive parents never told me until a year before I got my acceptance letter to Hogwarts when I was 11. When I went to get all of my supplies for the school year, my real parents left a note for me to read at this time. It told me where to go and what to do when I made it to Diagon Alley. My parents told me to tell the goblins at Gringotts, "The Rosewoods are as sharp as the thorn on a rose and as firm as the trunk of a 150 year old tree." and that would get me what I needed. Of course, I got my wand, which was 12 1/2" spruce, phoenix feather core wand (which I actually got on Pottermore), and a black cat with blue/green heterochromia. After gathering everything else (like books, my robe, and other things), I grabbed the train to Hogwarts, and so my adventure in the wizarding world began.
