Backstory
Of course, I wished I had known about this magical world... as a young lad myself, I had no idea what magic lie in this world. Sure, I believed (with quite stubborn protection) that there was some, but even then I'd never witnessed it. So of course, who was I to know I was a wizard? I studied throughout my life, hard, earning intellect, always artistic and was aiming for a job in said field. I was a very loyal and adventurous kid to my friends. The day I got this letter, I put my life aside. I could do great things! Assuming of course that it wasn't a prank, and it hadn't been! That day... my life forever changed. For the better, also.
