Backstory
As a Muggle-born growing up in a rural and very much unpopulated region of North America, I had no idea that there was an institution dedicated to learning magic. I've taught myself everything I know! Now, that I'm older and more knowledgeable about the world around me, I've realized that I would like to go back and get my magical education. I wrote and petitioned the Ministry for Magic in the United Kingdom and they allowed me to come and attend Hogwarts as a international and independent student. I can't wait to begin.
