Backstory
My parents were very relieved when I first started showing signs of magic. As a child, my family was rather concerned that I could have been the first squib in the family for many, many generations. How embarrassing it would be to have been a squib! Luckily, my letter arrived to confirm that my magical ability was genuine, and not just a series of coincidences.
