Backstory

As a half-blood, both my parents wished me, their youngest child and only daughter to do well when I left them on Platform 9 3/4 three years ago. My mother was a Ravenclaw in her day, but my aunt had been a Hufflepuff so they were both delighted and proud that I too had been considered 'kind' and 'loyal', and sorted into Hufflepuff. My father, he had neighbours who were magical and he had been exposed at a young age to the Wizarding World. He couldn't care less what house i was in, so long as I tried my best and never took advantage of my 'gift', as he called it. My brother, a Gryffindor fifth-year, tries not to talk to me as much as possible at school.
