Backstory

I was shocked when I received my Hogwarts acceptance letter. I have bounced from different foster homes my whole life. I visit my mother occasionally, she was admitted to a mental hospital when I was 2. My father died when I was a baby. According to my mother, my father was a wizard. I never believed her before, I thought she was just crazy. I never had any real friends. I was left to my own devices, my brain, and my books. I read everything I could get my hands on. I'm determined to make a better life for myself. And even with darkness seeming to follow closely behind me, a better life is precisely what I intend to find.
