Backstory
Adaryn Misfit comes from a loving home with both her parents and a younger sister, Alita, who is around 4 or 5 years old. She is a half-blood, meaning she has both wizarding and non-magical heritage, though her upbringing leaned more toward the wizarding side. Her family values kindness, learning, and creativity, which has shaped Adaryn into the sweet, caring, and somewhat shy person she is.
She has always been fascinated by magic, though much of it remained a mystery to her before attending Hogwarts. She grew up hearing stories about the wizarding world and practicing little bits of harmless magic, but she had to wait until Hogwarts to truly begin learning spells. In the meantime, she kept herself busy with hobbies like baking and crafting, both of which she enjoys immensely.
During her school supply shopping trip in Diagon Alley, Adaryn stumbled upon a small, fluffy Kneazle/cat mix in the pet shop. The moment she saw the tiny creature with soft gray and silver fur, perched high on a shelf and watching everything with quiet curiosity, she knew she couldn’t leave without her. After much pleading and heartfelt begging, her mother finally relented, and Adaryn happily brought Moonlight home. Unlike some pets who seek constant attention, Moonlight prefers high places and watches everything with an air of detached curiosity, only showing affection on her own terms.
