Backstory
Alright, hello. Let's make this quick, shall we?
One hot summer's day, my dearest Daddy had just ventured out of the secure parameters of his manor to explore the world. He wasn't prepared at all, I don't think, which is frankly quite idiotic. How can you not have a plan if you're going to travel to places you've never been? But Daddy has never had problems with not planning ahead; his Pureblood status made sure to fix everything for him. The Brewster family name may have fallen from their days of grace, but apparently it still holds some value.
Anyway, he decided to continue our family tradition as tea sommeliers—kind of like the Ollivanders. (We're much cooler, though.) He set off for the warm regions of East Asia, where he hoped that his research and studies would aid him with tea-brewing in the future.
My Umma told me that the day he walked into her tea shop was the best day of her life. A little insulting, considering my birth and existence, but sure. Young love and all that. Who needs love when you've got money, anyway? Well, Umma didn't have money back then, living as a poor Muggle and barely out of high school, so I guess young love was all she could cling to.
Ugh, this is getting mushy, I'll speed things up. Daddy and Umma fell in love, got married, moved back to Britain, and Umma learned about magic and boom.

Miri Brewster, aspiring tea sommelier—or wine, alcohol's always fun, too—at your service. My plan is to graduate Hogwarts, study tea—or wine!—and make my own blend, and then I'll get super famous and rich and I'll bring glory back to the Brewster family name. And then I'll party all day and night and Umma won't be able to nag me about cleaning after myself anymore, because I'll get MAIDS. That would be amazing.
