Backstory
Jina Chang-Yoon is a Half-blood born to Hogwarts alumna Cho Chang and Muggle Jae Yoon in Britain, and later moved to Australia due to her mother's traumatic memories and experiences surrounding her time at Hogwarts. Being the eldest sister, Jina was often left to be independent as her parents tended to her younger sister's needs. Throughout her childhood, she developed symptoms of anxiety and selective mutism, much to her parents' dismay and suspicion that her mother passed her 'emotional traits' down to her.
When she eventually received her letter of acceptance to Hogwarts, Jina was deathly afraid. She could barely get along and socialise - how could she ever survive Hogwarts? After a long conversation of encouragement and prompting from her parents, she hesitantly accepted.
Upon arrival, she was sorted into the house of Ravenclaw, following her mother's footsteps, where she can now be found with her head in a book or diligently doing her assignments with her pet Siamese cat, Cinnamon, on her lap and an aptitude and liking for Charms and Potions.
