Brief Background: When I was a baby, I was adopted by Muggle parents. When I first received my letter from Hogwarts, I was excited, nervous, and dumbfounded all at the same time. I've always had an active imagination, so I was excited to experience something I had only read in books. It was also nice to know I was not a freak and that there were other people like me out there. My parents, though shocked, were very supportive and did their best to help me adjust.
