Backstory
Nobody ever said it would be easy to be a Griffindor in her first year at Hogwarts. I come from a Muggle family, especially a Chinese one, so when I got my letter, the pressure was on to keep up as a Muggle-born and as a Chinese! My first language is Chinese, then English, and I am currently learning Spanish for fun. My best class, I think, will be Charms, but you don’t want to know how long I spend writing and rewriting essays in the Muggle world! I like reading, playing sports, and hanging out with cats. When I’m not studying for history or writing essays (because I suck at it), you can probably find me reading or sleeping in the dormitory. I am proud to be in the same house as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Fred and George Weasley... the list goes on and on. My wand is vine wood, 12 1/4", unicorn hair, and quite bendy. I am very talented and successfully conjured the Patronus charm. My patronus animal is a Bay Mare.
