Backstory
I was born in a wizarding family known for its long line of Gryffindors. Many of my family members have become renowned Aurors, brave explorers, and influential leaders in the magical community. Courage, bravery, and a fierce sense of justice all around.
The Sorting Hat gave me a chance to choose between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. Since I wanted to be different, I chose Hufflepuff. The first in the family in over 200 years. I am considered kind, loyal, and can see the value in all living things. I am also courageous like my family but it's more rooted in compassion and the desire to protect rather than to fight.
I became an Auror myself right after graduation and thrived in this position. While at Hogwarts I thrived in Herbology, Potions, Charms and Care of Magical Creatures. I have confronted dark wizards and dangerous situations, yet as time went on, I grew increasingly troubled by the ethical dilemmas I encountered as an Auror, especially when missions involved magical creatures being harmed or exploited.
I transitioned into a career as a Magizoologist, focusing on the study and preservation of rare and endangered species. My work has taken me across the globe, where I've encountered everything from the Nundu to the Wampus cat. I speak a few different languages and my research and advocacy have made me a respected figure in the field.
I am married to Frederik Lamartis, known Healer.
