Val Maverik

Backstory

Hi my names Val, I'm a student at the moment and im in gryffindor. I think thats less to do with my bravery and more to do with my chivalry and determination. When i got sorted the hat took forever, it kept muttering abut every house except slytherin. It makes sense though, im also loyal, friendly and have a thirst for knowledge ;on the other hand im deffin itely not cunning or power hungry - don't get me wrong i have nothing against the house my best friend is a slytherin ironicaly and i quite love her dark humor!I think my greatest strengths would be my intelligence and chivalry. However my greatest weakness is certainly my overconfidence, its not my fault though its my subconcious! When i leave hogwarts i aspire to do something in potions I think ... or charms, or myabe care of magical creatures - im not sure. I hate the thought of being stuck doing one thing my whole life. All i know is I have no interest in transfiguration its utterly boring, or as the French say, ennuyeux - I say that on behalf of my muggle mother who insists i take French lessons. As you would have guessed from the last bit I'm not a pure blood, I am a half-blood so my dads a wizard. I dont have any siblings unfortunately but my parents made sure i still had company - in the form of animals. I have one cat called Cordelia - my mum named her - she's a grey ragdoll and sh's soooo fluffy! My dad also got me two puffskeins called nimbus (grey) and maggie (pink) they're so cute but I have to be careful because they like to roll unnder things and hide and have sent the whole household into a panic on multiple occasions. Lastly, I also have a Bowtruckle named leafy, I named him when i was little dont judge, and I may or may not have snuck him into hogwarts  - he has sparation anxiety though I couldn't leave him!
