Backstory

Due to Slytherin's bad reputation, it was a shock when I got sorted into Slytherin, even with my mother's predjuice past. Unlike popular belief, not all Sytherins are mean, evil people. I, for one, wouldn't call myself either of those names; I would even go so far as to say I am quite enjoyable to be around. Which brings me back to the question: Why was I sorted into Slytherin? The hat took four minutes to decide between three of the four houses: Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin, almost making me a hatstall. But it chose Slytherin in the end due to my resourcefulness, self-preservation, and determination. The classes in Hogwarts I am looking forward to the most are Potions and Astronomy. This is because of the practical lessons in Potions and the stars in Astronomy. My name being an Old French name meaning star. A class I am looking forward to least would have to be Herbology. That is because it is the class that uses the least amount of magic, and I have to get dirty. I am a Pureblood. My name is an old North American Blood-traitor name. Because of that, my mother, being part of a predjudiced family, was disowned. That caused me to not have many connections with pureblood families and no connection with family nearby due to my father moving away from friends and family in America to be with my mother here in Britain. Unlike my father, my mother went to Hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin, leaving me with more knowledge than most Half-bloods and Muggleborns about Hogwarts and the way it runs, even with minimal connections. I never let anyone know my greatest strength or weakness because that could lead them to blackmail me. After Hogwarts, I wish to become an Unspeakable in the Ministry of Magic or a Potions Master at Hogwarts. The most fascinating aspect of magic, I think, would have to be Transfiguration, with a subtopic of Human Transfiguration. I want to use magic to help others while also using it to further my own ends. I want to make my life as easy as possible while also helping others by achieving things other wizards and witches have never done. I have two female cats, one white one named Snow and another black one named Princess. I normally bring Princess to Hogwarts with me, while Snow stays at home with my parents and brother.
