Arabella C.D. Black

Backstory

My name is Arabella Cedrella Dorea Black, I was born into a Dutch Pureblood family. I was sorted into Ravenclaw, the hat sorted me there almost immediately. He did have a little difficulty between choosing to put me in Slytherin or Ravenclaw. I have just begun my first year so I haven't had many classes yet, I particularly enjoy Potions and History of Magic, but I'm a little bored during Charms. I don't enjoy Transfiguration all that much, but I get perfect scores. I am a Pureblood, but most don't care about Blood Status and Blood Purity anymore, though there are a few who do and call me a Blood Traitor, but I don't mind. I think that my greatest strength is my want for knowledge, seeing as knowledge is power. My greatest weakness might be that I sometimes have difficulty controlling my emotions and therefor I can get a bit irrational. I have always wanted to share what I know, so maybe a Professor, here at Hogwarts. Or I could also become and author. I am fascinated by, how magic is everywhere, it surrounds you. It's in nature, in the trees and the flowers, the elements... I want to use magic to help others, magic can do so much good when it is in the right hands, but I also think that in some instances I will want to use my magic for myself, to get what I want or need. I don't really know what I want, I have a vague idea of the things I want to accomplish in my life, but that's it. I have to pet dogs, a male and a female, Jimi and Mila, respectively. Jimi is very food oriented, but he's normally calm. In contrast, Mila is very playful and the more dominant one of the two. I think that my family is fairly normal, obviously we have some disagreements, but were all very close knitted.
