Backstory
Johanna Hong has actually waited for this moment her entire life. To finally step foot into the castle halls where most of her pureblood family had gone growing up. She wanted to make her brother proud. He had just graduated and it is now Johanna's turn to take up the mantle — be the next Slytherin in the family. She waited patiently for her turn and as the Sorting Hat was placed upon her head, she had no doubt that it would proclaim the same fate for her. It's all her life's ever known. Slytherin... Slytherin... Slytherin...
The Sorting Hat takes a big, deep breath. Here it is, Johanna thought. And the Sorting Hat exclaims: Gryffindor!
Her eyes go wide. There must be some mistake! She's ushered down the steps and begrudgingly makes her way to the table, the other students making space for her, seemingly just as confused as she is. What is going on? What will she tell her parents?
